Description of a day: Each day will start with Party Pace (this is easy-moderate group no drop riding pace) until first timed section or Sprint. Then do timed section. REGROUP (usually will have support at regroup but not always). Once regrouped and refueled, party pace to next timed section. Next timed section. Regroup /Refuel and ride back to Big Cedar. OTHER STUFF: There will be 1 or 2 sprints each days for the sprint competition. There will be a KOM or 2 each day for that competition. There will be GC overall time Classification. Then the hardest to earn, the DFL (or last place competition).
Description of the terrain: In 2015, we have incorporated more trails and double track. Most of the riding will take place on Dirt roads (these can be smooth, they can be rough, and they can be really tough). There will be some pavement, some ATV trail, and Single track. The single track isn’t groomed to perfection and can be down right tough. There will be hike-a-bike sections, loooong downhills (one is 4.5 miles) and some trail that will be ridge top with great views.
DESCRIPTION: Choose from a 5k or 15k trail run and bring a headlamp or flashlight, because you will be running after sunset following a course of reflective ribbon and glow necklaces to help find your way!
